This year the design halls were hung with incredible fuchsia banners, a sure clue that bright saturated colors are catching on. Neutrals made themselves known with dynamic new textures. Whimsy, romance, and pop expression defied the economic gloom. Themes of nature, raw materials, graphic patterns, and bold colors still held strong, but there were plenty of new looks on the rise.
